Cross Country

Well done to all the year 2 children who ran the cross country today. A special congratulations goes to Otto for placing 1st in the year 2 boys and to Lily for placing 2nd in the year 2 girls. Here are some of the things Room 5 were thinking and feeling;
 Georgia "I felt excited."
Angus "I didn't win but I put up with it and didn't care about winning because I needed to get a new goal for running. I need to get my leg muscles bigger."
Lily "I felt scared and excited. I was proud of myself."
Otto "Mr Williams said squash the people over and I did. At the start when Mr Williams blew the whistle I felt nervous. When I came first I was happy."
Gabby "I liked the cross country because it was fun."
Niamh "I tried my best at the cross country."

Easter Fun

We had a special visitor today - The Easter Bunny!
The children had a great time completing the egg hunt and following the footprints which led to some chocolate eggs.  The Easter bunny even had time to stop for a quick photo.  Have a lovely holiday!

Clip 'n' Climb

These are some of the things the children had to say about Clip 'n' Climb:
At Clip 'n' Climb some people went to the top and pressed a button.
Lachlan climbed up really high and liked swinging around in the harnesses.
Arthur like the bouncy castle climbing wall.
Victor liked to press the button at the top of the wall.
Marley went all the way to top and he was the king.
Alyssa loved racing with Miu.
Miu loved pressing the button on each climbing wall and she pressed it four times.
Angus said there were all sorts of climbing walls and there were some army people there.
Lachie pressed the button on the climbing wall.
Georgia liked the dotted climbing wall.
Lakia nearly got up to the top of the rainbow wall.
Bella's tooth fell out.
Gabby liked Clip 'n' Climb.
Otto like watching Mrs Dykstra on the slide.
